VW Golf 1.4 16v 2000 - Fault codes 01249 & 01252 #

Year of Manufacture *: 00
Engine Size and Code *: 1.4 16v
( Optional) Fault Codes: 01249-01252

Car losses power completely but when you re-start the car, problem clears. Fault code shows injectors 1-4 possible wiring faults but have checked all earths which seem fine. Any ideas?

Evening Tom,

Do the fault codes re-appear after being cleared? Does this happen under load and can you replicate the problem under workshop conditions.. ie engine running in neutral..

Hi Tom could do with the engine code please so i can check my wiring diagrams. With that model year they do have a lot of wiring problems.

hi tom you have not given alot of info in your description do you get any fault codes for egr & evap purge to because it sound like the main relay or know as fuel pump relay, have you checked it they give power to the injectors
