Vauxhall Omega 2.2 2003 - Fault code P0340 cam sensor - Fixed #
Posted by Joe Mantache on November 22, 2010, 9:13 pm hi all need some help with this one, car came in with a p0340 cam sensor fault code & a leaking rocker cover gasket so done the gasket & changed the cam sensor reset the fault codes & started car engine management light came on with 3 codes all about low power or voltage to throttle body did no work on throttle body but i disconnected the throttle body & checked pin b & g for voltage both should have 5v but g did not i tested the loom its fine the ecu is given 5v when loom disconnected but power dies when loom connected i though back to what work i done & discounted the new cam sensor the 5v came back to throttle body don't get it how are they connected? thanx
