BMW E36 M3 Evo 3.2 1997 - Ignition current bank 1 & 2 fault - Fixed #
Posted by Sean Murphy on October 14, 2011, 5:54 pm Got an E36 M3 3.2ltr in with a bad misfire when the revs go over ~3800 rpm, worse when the engine is hot, and repeatable. By way of a little history the car has a second-hand engine as the crank blew in the first one (both nothing to do with us, we didnt know the car at that point, we've just inherited the problem). The fault codes keep logging as "(015) 0F ignition current bank 1” & “(009) 09 ignition current bank 2".
