Got an E36 M3 3.2ltr in with a bad misfire when the revs go over ~3800 rpm, worse when the engine is hot, and repeatable. By way of a little history the car has a second-hand engine as the crank blew in the first one (both nothing to do with us, we didnt know the car at that point, we've just inherited the problem). The fault codes keep logging as "(015) 0F ignition current bank 1” & “(009) 09 ignition current bank 2".

So far i've:
Tried a different DME (with known good spares from my workshop stock) – no change
Reprogrammed the 'old' DME with the latest program - no change
Replaced the spark plugs (with known good spares from my workshop stock) – no change
Replaced 6 coils (with known good spares from my workshop stock) – no change
Visually checked the wiring from the coils to the ECU – appears OK
Run a separate earth from the cam cover to the chassis – no change
Run a separate earth from the ECU case to the chassis – no change
Scoped the coils - look OK, scoped the fuel injector current - looks OK

Am at a bit of a loss - anyone seen this code before or got any ideas?
