Volvo V70 2.5 20v B5254S 1998 - Running rich P0130 & P0137 #

Year of Manufacture *: 1998
Engine Size and Code *: 2.5 20V B5254S
( Optional ) ECU Type: See text

Above car runs OK but very rich. Lambda sensors are working but the ECU doesnt seem to be able to "see" them in live data.

The problem I have is one of identification. Autodata doesnt list B5254S (It does list B5254FS)

The ECU doesnt seem to have any identifying numbers appart from the Bosch number;

0 261 204 295

Could somebody please confirm the ECU type I would like to check circuit continuity before suspecting the ECU but am not sure which pin data set to use

This is from E3Technical (Vivid) it lists a V70 2.5 20v B5254S

Bosch ESi confirms B5254 S as a M4.4.1 according to your Bosch ECU part number

PS, Do these suffer from internal ECU issues that might cause this sort of problem? Its not something I have come across before. IME these are normally pretty bombproof!

Would you not suspect the scan tool before the ECU?

Not much info of test results etc, but is this just a case of ECU showing default values in live data as ECU is ignoring o2 readings due to faults logged with senors / circuits ?
