Year of Manufacture *: 2009 Engine Size and Code *: 2000 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: SPI ( Optional) Fault Codes: BMW FAULT CODES
Has anybody got access to BMW Fault Codes. Car is driving fine,engine management light comes on after long cruise speed on Motorway. Around town & countryside it never comes on.It is still in Manufacture's Warranty but customer wants to be forearmed before going there. Historic codes were 2AF4, 2AF2, 2AF6,30E9,2C6C, 2C7F, 30EA. Live Codes, 30E9,30EA. Any info will be much appreciated.

Hi Phil, I have,.......... 2AF4, - Nox sensor - electrical 2AF2, - Nitric oxide sensor - heater 2AF6, - Nitric oxide lambda binary 30E9, - Nox cat ageing 2C6C, - After cat 02 sensor system bank 2 2C7F, - After cat 02 sensor signal bank 2 30EA. - Nox cat Sulfurated

Does SPI give codes and no Explanation. ?? Thats not good for any diagnostic machine nowadays. ( Very poor really )
Wouldn't it be better also getting a read out under EOBD on such a modern vehicle. ? or both if helps to confirm the problem.
