Mazda mx 5 Chassis - JMZ NB1 8P2 004 008 29
This vehicle is owned by a trade customer and was bought from auction.
The EML is lit and the code I have pulled via EOBD is P1562 - ECM supply voltage low.
The code will clear with ign on, it will stay cleared until you start the vehicle then is comes straight back.
If you clear it with engine running the EML goes out for a second then the code and EML come straight back on.
I have cleared the code and bump started the car and again when the engine is running the EML and code come straight back.
Battery looks new (it is in the boot though) battery test shows good I have found it is an AGM battery SAE 365 CCA from the part number the test results show 342 CCA.(this is apparently the correct battery for the car)
The battery volts drop to 10.85v during cranking and then it proceeds to charge at 14.77v.
I have checked all the fuses I can find and all check out ok.
I dont mind buying manuals or even using the dealer websites but I seem to have fallen at every hurdle as regards correct info on this one.
As stated I could do with a wiring diagram or pin data for the ECM before I dig the ecu out from behind the glove box.
