VW Polo 1.2 AZQ 2003 - Lack of power, codes P0106 & P0172 - Unresolved #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003
Engine Size and Code *: 1198. AZQ
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Delphi launch
( Optional) Fault Codes: P0106. P0172

Customer complaining of lack of power. These engines are not the best. Where should I start. Thanks in advance guys

P0106 MANIFOLD/BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SENSOR G71 F96 IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL

P0172 FUEL TRIM BANK 1 SYSTEM TOO RICH

Possible breather valve fault or intake leak, possible chain stretched. I'm guessing the manifold vac reading is low, post map reading at idle and confirm with gauge.

Thanks for all your help guys but didn't get very far with the tests as the customer thought we had a crystal ball like the agents have. So sent him on his way
