Peugeot 308 1.2 HNY 3cy 2014 - Fault Codes P1034, P1033, P1032, P3060 - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture: 2014
Engine Size and Code: 1.2 hny 3 cyl turbo
( Optional ) ECU Type: valeo vd 46.1

hi guys
i have a peugeot 308 1.2 3 cyl turbo petrol in.
the car drive normally and the owner has no complaints except the fault light comes on.
the codes are all knock detection related
p1034
p1033
p1032
p3060
hes had both o2 sensors replaced by another shop as the car was slightly off power.but thats fixed.
hes using 98 octane fuel of a good brand,bp.
has anyone seen this before,is it a software thing or carbon build up.

Hi Stu,

Seen this before and it is indeed carbon build up.

Intake manifold off and walnut blast!

How many miles has it done? These are prone for cam-belt fluff/debris clogging the oil ways (wet belt setup).

First thing to do would be remove the VVT solenoids and check the filters - if they're clogged - you're going to need to get the sump off and clean the strainer - oil pump, replace the oil pressure control solenoid and the VVT units.....

Yay - cam-belts - keeping garages in work since their conception!

sorry for late reply,thanks for the help.i contacted a guy i know in a peugeot dealer here and he said they are aware of this issue and to send it over.there was a hint of some sort of dealer service fix.
so it was driven to dealer by the owner,i am yet to hear back on any repairs,but will follw up and post any results here.
my google checks saw lots of very bad looking cam belts with cracks in them.when these first came out and i saw they were in oil i did groan.

ok so a late update,the dealer put a whole new motor in no charge to customer and didnt say why.any idea whats going on with these models
