Finkelstein is magisterial here. In my opinion. I think he focuses on how important it is to oppose the suppression of freedom of speech, especially when one's own cherished beliefs and values are challenged.
The left, of course, are crazy to support suppression of speech they don't like, because they are then helping to normalize the principle and practice of speech suppression, and down the road that new normal comes back to bite them on the arse, because it's always the rich and powerful, the State, that benefit disproportionally from the control of speech.
