Not sure why you think he was hostile to Russian (?) regime. At the end of the day, what he said was that there was a political angle and not just an economic angle that was omitted from the Lauria's article in the Consortium News, with reference to Thatcher's underlying motivation.

One needs to read all the references 1 to 4, which clarify.
My reading is that Ramsay correctly pointed omissions in Lauria's articles which are relevant to that period. He has obviously followed this period for a long time judging by the references, some of which were articles written by him. Note reference 3 ref British Gladio etc.
