It really is. I'm as guilty as anyone of throwing the F word around but the last six months have really shown the US up for what it really is. When all the mainstream-fed are asking, "Wait, what is this? This is what we condemn in other countries as fascism." then you hope that something might spark widespread organisation and change but I'm never optimistic.

And then I read Twitter threads (not the most reliable barometer it has to be said) and there's a seemingly endless parade of boot-licker loving what the pigs are doing and wishing it was more violent and had happened sooner and wanking on about "Marxists" and "Hamas sympathisers" and you think, meh, it's not gonna happen.
