Well, quite, he and so many others were Israel's useful idiots for that whole episode, endorsing the bad faith smear of antisemitism at a point when it should have been buried for good. I don't think it's going too far to say that the blood of Palestinians is at least partly on their hands. If the witch hunt had gone nowhere and Corbyn had faced down the accusations and not led the purge of the labour party of leftists and those who oppose apartheid Israel, then there might have been an actual parliamentary opposition to this genocide and a chance that UK Plc's collusion would have been challenged and perhaps even stopped altogether. Instead Palestine solidarity is verboten and all dissent has been banished to the margins. Jones played his part in that process, and I doubt he'll ever acknowledge it.
