Stonehenge is protected by the ancient monuments act and it is a criminal offence to damage the Stones. There are also multiple rare lichen species growing on the stones that are also protected. Expect a prison sentence.

Of course, such actions will make no damn difference to the disastrous trajectory we are on re: climate change.

But, I am genuinely amused by the ranty reactions to such actions. About supposedly alienating Joe Public. It's like the average guy/ess was really concerned about CC but because of such actions now doesn't give a fuck anymore. As if...
