I haven't seen the whole interview but did see the cut where he argues this, Nick Robinson is priceless in his astonished refusal to accept this argument.
But then he's in good company, the whole British political elite fall into line, there horror at this opinion, he's a Putin apologist, a Russian stooge, etc.

Some years ago, I think it was around 2010 I wrote here that the first years of this century bear an uncomfortable parallel with hose of the 1900s leading up to WW1. A blind elite of failing social structures. We've even had a pandemic to accompany them. At the moment it's Ukrainians and Russians dying in very similar circumstances but it'll be our turn before too long.
And I have to say, his stance on excessive immigration - it is far too high for an overcrowded country with failing infrasctructur and hosing etc. However Farage is an out and out racist, and I am not. I am anti-immigration in such hugely excessive numbers for social cohesion and environmental concerns.
