Monbiot is obvious liberal media trash, of course -- and a state-serving simp of long standing. But consider how the UK Green Party decided last year that the thing to do was shack up with hydrocarbon-powered NATO; the UK's only Green MP has the voting record of an offensively enthusiastic securicrat; and Germany's Baerbock and Habeck have been so rabidly gung-ho about the need to destroy Russia that one doubts they ever had any genuine eco-related convictions at all. Indeed, an elite takeover of all nominally green organisations seems to be in evidence...
