Weird how you only have to scratch the surface of an Establishment Green to reveal a creature with a hard-on for military hardware and the warfare state. But consider how the UK Green Party decided last year that the thing to do was shack up with hydrocarbon-powered NATO; the UK's only Green MP has the voting record of an offensively enthusiastic securicrat; and Germany's Baerbock and Habeck have been so rabidly gung-ho about the need to destroy Russia that one doubts they ever had any genuine eco-related convictions at all. Indeed, an elite takeover of all nominally green organisations seems to be in evidence...

So a US president who might make peace with Russia represents a threat to Europe and means the UK should re-arm and prepare to defend itself, maybe even against the US? So that means he approves of the current approach of sabre rattling and pumping arms, money and mercenaries into Ukraine as the best possible course of action and not in itself posing a danger to the UK or to the wider world. The opposition to nuclear weapons is because the US can veto them and they're too expensive, not that they're a terrible idea in the first place. BRICS gets no mention, so the implication is that it's right for the US, UK and Europe to dominate the world, even if they did a few bad things in the past. The graun's MI6 handlers must have been on his case...
