-Given his role in the persecution of Assange you would think he would just keep mum about journalism " not being a crime" ...but hey-ho: he made a bonfire of the detailed evidence before leaving the CPS...and will pretend for the rest of his life that it never happened.

The sentencing of WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich is despicable and only serves to underscore Russia’s utter contempt for media freedom.

Journalism should not be a crime.

Gershkovich must be released immediately.
