I get the feeling UK simply loves the idea it can still wage a war against a great power like Russia. Of course, it can't, but with Ukraine it's like playing house. Send them some money, weapons and advisors and pretend to be involved in great power politics.

That's what I think this this literal obsession with Ukraine in the UK stems from. They are waving a Ukrainian flag on top of 10 Downing Street alongside the Union flag, and have been since February 2022. Is that normal? Who does that?

Without it, what is the UK today? Not part of the EU, not a big military or economic power anymore. A Denmark without the social benefits.
