Having said that, how low can they go? After nine months (to take the short view) of endless atrocity and depravity, you think they've bottomed out but then they just show they can sink even lower.
When there's some kind of reckoning for all this the truth of what they've done will be enough for 10,000 Nurembergs.
...no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party...So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin.
