I listened to the whole video and filed the whole thing away under “this is what he is saying” not “this is what is happening”.

“This is what he is saying”, in my view, only becomes remotely close to “this is what is happening” in the context of genuinely independent confirmation and I don’t see any - but I have not looked in detail either.

From the outside (for someone not living in the UK), I can understand how this topic can be a tricky information space. But I think it is good to be aware that it is a tricky information space from a remote location and there are people here who have probably been in the thick of it.
