Right wing media have suddenly noticed state authoritarianism, though they seemed happy enough with it when just stop oil protesters were getting banged up for 5 years for being in a WhatsApp discussion. If they had been paying attention they would have realised what an authority government Starmer us likely to lead and that he was just looking for an excuse to further deepen state authoritarianism.
