If Rogan is the most popular, then I guess the depressing truth is that he reminds the greatest number of Americans of themselves: Great armies of low level corporate types: Traveling salespeople, people with lives in office cubicles etc., maybe some tattoos, drink a bit, can’t see really outside the matrix, suspect something may be there but don’t think too hard about it (or anything), don’t want to lose their jobs or promotions by questioning too much, so just trust their social instincts, never any growth beyond a certain stage.
