When I was a kid the father of a friend of the family went to see The Exorcist and had nightmares for months after and ended up having some sort of therapy over it. It came out just a little before my time, although a fair portion of my teenage years was spent trying to sneak into, or speak deeply enough to be let into, that and other X-certificate films.
"The Blackcoat's Daughter" is a great horror film that isn't widely seen, although it's the same director as the recent hit "Longlegs" so that might change now.
I'm going to have to dig his email out and send him a message saying I've been diagnosed with dyslexia....
