I can't bear to actually watch the things but I do try and get a sense of the aftermath (although having to listen to those two it would be better to be aftermeth) and although the usual suspects are all claiming "Kamala won" it's all so very restrained so she clearly didn't really smash him.

They actually had people fact-checking in real time, notably on the "They're eating the dogs" thing, but obviously this only extends so far and in a fairly partisan way.

The media all seem to have got in line in so far as they are not going to make the same "mistake" as last time by giving Trump constant free advertising and instead seem to have gone full negative, minimal exposure. Who pulled those strings and how I don't know but the difference between the run-ins to the two elections couldn't be more stark.
