I agree that is a fairly large discrepancy. "Canada-based Israeli filmmaker" might be a bit of a clue mind you.

She doesn't provide any evidence or statistics but just generally says things like "Israelis don't want war" for example. Of course it's possible the polls quoted from the other side were very limited or biased in some way.

I'm definitely on the suspicious side when it comes to that and am definitely more likely to go with lunatic state rather than frustrated peaceniks.

Will have to do some more digging into this and how much Israel shows on their media, how much they see of other media, etc.

It's definitely a glaring hmmmmm moment.
