I didn't mean to diminish the disgustingness of his behaviour or the veracity of her claims although I can see that I did in a way. I meant, as you pointed out, that it is not a bombshell as far as people have heard it before and not been swayed.

My idea is that they only need something they can point to that they can claim increased voter turnout among a certain segment of the population if they need to nudge the scales in a certain direction.

I'm not ancient but I can remember in my lifetime when any one of these scandals would have ended a political career most of the time, let alone this litany of miscreancy. It's amazing that it just doesn't seem to matter anymore.
