I am personally grappling with an impossible task of trying to think of the way that we can avoid the 2 degree threshold kinda soon, which is on the cards, it seems. It is an impossible task with (only) reliance on renewable energy resources (especially in (say) German war-mongering situation of getting their military up to scratch using windmills and dirty lignite, just sayin'). I accept we are not going to achieve that goal of avoiding that threshold. Go back to the caves? Working on NetZero projects here in the UK is quite disheartening.
