When you instead make silly assertions like "No, Aipac etc work for American Caesar..." You can't expect to be taken seriously.

The Israel lobby promote US support and military aid for Israels policies: presently its genocides and ethnic cleansing in Palestine and Lebanon and there is little doubt this is actively working against US interests in the the middle East and the gulf.

It does so by undermining the (already thin) popular support for all the US supported and supporting gulf monarchies...it reinforces popular antipathy to Israel-supporting ruling elites in major states such as Erdogans in Turkey, it debases trust & US bone fides in other major oil producing nations such as Iran where the US hopes to see prospective regime change: and where, as Morandi points out above, as a result of the Israeli genocide in Gaza with US support, there has been a sea change in perceived US status from positive to pariah amongst young Iranians.

in short AIPAC and the Israeli lobby are not working for US interests at all in the middle east: they are in fact doing the opposite and the openly Adelson-bought Trump looks likely to be about to double up on the damage.


If the rest of us are lucky ( unlike Israel's victims) the world might get out of this by a few claimed territorial grabs supported by US might which will at some point be reversed. The alternative: favoured by meglomaniac crooks and supported by the eschatologicaly touched religious loonies who have positions of power in both Israel & the US, is war against Iran.

And that will not be in anyone's interest at all.
