As far as NPD is concerned, the issue is clouded by the savage deficits that a clinical narcissist manifests. The other day I heard CIA and State Dept veteran Larry C. Johnson refer in all seriousness to 'whatever good Trump may decide to do for people'. The howling daftness of that as an idea is that the clinical narcissist does not actually have a constellated, unified self, does not understand that other people are separate selves, interacts with people without genuine empathy and purely on the basis of the snapshot introjects he has created from them. The idea that a Trump (or a Boris) is neurologically even capable of grokking that other people actually are other people to whom 'good' can be done is fantastical. M.
