Agreed. Of the two this was the paragraph I was most annoyed/disgusted with:

Netanyahu and his defenders say that the ICC’s warrants are outrageous because they overlook the viciousness of Israel’s Hamas enemy and seek to tie the hands of Israel in defending itself. But the way Israel has pounded Hamas is not at the heart of the ICC case. Instead, the focus of the charge sheet is aid.

In only a couple of lines he reframes/lies/distorts so many things, it's disgusting.

"the viciousness of Israel's enemy Hamas" - not just ignoring the viciousness of the apartheid state's response, which is vastly more fatal, but also reframing their enemy as Hamas, as opposed to the people that have been massacring, Palestinian civilians.

"...tie the hands of Israel in defending itself" - once again, the canard of response/defence when they are committing genocide. And the framing of being charged with genocide somehow hindering their right to defence is also pretty disgusting.

"the way Israel has pounded Hamas..." - reframing their ehtnic cleansing as targetting Hamas rather than civilians. Another lie.

Quite the triumph in so few lines.
