It's a bit unfair to call Prof Dorothy Bishop "an elitist" - she's a Professor of developmental neuropsychology and a leading expert on children’s communication disorders. If she is in an elite, she's in one previously shared by Isaac Newton, Christopher Wren, Robert Hooke, Benjamin Franklin, Joseph Priestly, William Herschel, Robert Adam, Harvey Cushing, James Watt, Francis Crick etc etc. Any scientist, engineer, explorer, architect etc would be proud to be a MRS, not much less than winning a Nobel Prize. it's not wrong to be a member of an elite such as this one. It's an elite any British person should be very proud of. You're being churlish...
