I think it is more complicated than clear winning and losing. My perception has been that Israel is in real trouble economically, demographically .. as in 1 odd million Israelis citizens have left for greener pastures i.e. Europe, US and elsewhere and myriad of other issues, 30K of Golan Height settlers displaced and living in hotels (most reports give much higher numbers). Conscription of ultra-religious people and hostages issue. Etc.
Gaza is being cleared out, Lebanon is being cowed, regime change in Syria and a new anti-Iranian caliphate of chaos will be installed, but under the thumb of the US. If you're a Christian or the wrong sort of Moslem, you'll suffer severely, but the extra millions of refugees won't be a US problem, but yet another nail in the coffin for Europe, the US's ever diminishing rival.
Well, I haven't heard the fat lady sing just yet. For example, I'd agree with Gaza is being cleared out, Lebanon is being cowed has some merit. Meanwhile, the regime change is not quite there.
It needs to be remembered that Syrian economy has been decimated by sanctions and lack of access to their oil and wheat fields. Hence lack of funds to pay to their army. Subsequent corruption in their military, which is most likely the reason for their collapse in some areas. There is also demographics to consider regarding the areas of Syria that are Sunni. These are the areas that have been attacked/controlled previously in 2015 etc. by jihadis and the story repeats itself. Just look at maps of 2015 and the current one today.
You say:
Russia has not yet won in any real terms, as Ukraine could still become a NATO member and have US missiles installed there ..
There is absolutely zero chance of Ukraine in it's current form becoming a NATO member in my humble opinion. This is an existential issue for RF.
US hegemony is under serious threat, but don't assume it's going to go quietly
It takes time for empires to leave the scene and it is doubtful it will go quietly into the night.
The State of Israel has been a highly successful plan to continue domination of the Middle East, and it continues so to be.
I very much disagree. Israel is on the ropes. We'll see.
