Tend to agree, Shyaku. Clearly Ritter is still a valuable voice for his expertise and insider knowledge, and his advocacy for peace & diplomacy between the US and Russia has probably done all of us a favour. Expecting him to be a champion of all leftist causes is a recipe for disappointment. Really, expecting anyone to be a champion in this way is an abdication of responsibility, hoping that they will do all the hard work so that you don't have to. Of course, I have never been guilty of doing this myself... ;P
