In the 80s and 90s when I visited, seppoes were 'just' dysfunctional. Ginormous rats and burning cars on the highways in NY and glitz in LA etc. Swaggering decline since then i.e. tent cities etc. My sincere condolences for the 99%. Perhaps coming our way here?
