▪️The mayor of Lviv acknowledged serious damage to infrastructure after the strike of the Russian missile "Oreshnik" and stated that the Ukrainian air defense system did not register its flight. The missile was not detected by radars, and the time from launch to impact was less than 10 minutes.
▪️The missile did not carry a warhead, which allowed to avoid large-scale destruction and casualties. At the same time, Sadovoy confirmed the damage to one of the critical infrastructure objects and described the received damage as "terrible", although not the maximum possible.
▪️The Gauleiter of Lviv called the incident a demonstration of force and linked the strike to the city's proximity to the EU border. To date, Ukraine does not have technologies capable of intercepting such types of missiles, and he regarded the strike as a signal addressed to the USA and European countries.
