Right, I've been in the UK for three weeks and return to Hong Kong late next week - my media consumption in the HKSAR now consists of the South China Morning Post (SCMP,)Singapore Straits Times, Hindustan Times, Chinadaily Hong Kong version and obviously most non-MSM YouTube Channels, all backed up on various 'freedom' websites, i.e., Substack.

Now, regrettably for me, I'm forced to endure the old man watching BCC News, ITV News and Sky News religiously, with a further dose of the Daily Mirror each morning - the lies, Orientalism, hatred of Shia Muslims, Russians and Chinese is off the scale. I try and explain to my elderly parents they are being lied too, they are being propagandised against by rich fuckers and the UK Security State - me Mum gets it but the old man don't, i.e., I'm just a Commie and its me who's the fucking liar.

Mind you, its not only the parents, its rather a lot of peeps I bump into in the Pub or actually attended school with who believe this bollocks and are incapable of comprehending that they are lied too on a continual basis. And, the actually fucking liberal class are the worst, as noted yet again on these Boards.

I'd not mind so much if most of the economic and geopolitics news I get were banned in the UK - obviously Russia Today is banned the rest certainly are not presently, however the Starmer/Blair rightist fuckers and the EU are working on this.

Really, what hope do we have given a majority of peeps either don't consume news media or watch utter propaganda - suffice to say, glad I'm in the minority with the scales removed from his eyes but had rather hoped our numbers would be far higher than they obviously are.

Anyhow, that's me gripe but so glad I don't purchase into the bollocks.
