While he still unhappily stalked this planet, Christopher Hitchens was another regular, as pompous as Simon Schama and as dyspeptic as Shawcross; a week after one of Hitchens' appearances in 2003, interviewer Kim Hill asked another guest, Noam Chomsky, to comment on Hitchens' political move to the hard right. Chomsky summed him up in one word: "Incoherent."
