'The real problem is the GPs fear of breaking with the foreign policy consensus between Labour and the Tories. The question is whether you want to break from that or adapt to it.'
I predict that TG and others banned from the GP for 'anti-semitism' (sic) and other thought crimes will not be re-admitted, Polanski will maintain silence or actively disown the 'zionism is racism' motion at the upcoming conference, and it will fail to pass because of identical filibustering tactics which those in favour of the motion will have done nothing to counter, because they're only interested in moral victories*. Furthermore the GP will double down on their support for NATO and their russophobia as a signal to the MIC that they are a safe pair of hands. Naive rank and file lefties will fail to exert their influence and, instead of resigning their memberships in protest, will try to persuade the rest of us that the GP is the best option we have, so you'd better vote for them or you're a Faragist n@zi.
I reserve the right to say I told you so
cheers,
I
