MLK's quote can be interpreted in any way that suits the ideologue, just like the Bible, just like Nietzsche, just like anything serious. The problem with ideologues is they take themselves more seriously than the thing being studied, while taking cover in the collective. MLK: "Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love." The underlined bit proves dangerous in the hands of a Utopian Government that seeks to correct wrong think. The purpose of power and leadership should never be used to correct people, but to protect (not GIVE, but PROTECT) people's intrinsic (universal) rights from unlawful thieves and fraudsters.
