It means Apple, and others, are willing to make a conditional gamble on her. Like I said, this is just the beginning. Also, "private donations" are difficult to verify. Soros, for example could easily donate privately and anonymously. 2 million is a fairly large sum for a rookie. Plus there is the relatively easy ride she's being given in Washington, for a young female rookie, and a socialist at that! You should be suspicious, and you shouldn't be less suspicious just because she utters ideas and platitudes you happen to like. What do I think of these ideas and platitudes? I like some of them a lot. What do you think of Obama's Yes We Can ideas, his vision to unite America and empower the people? Sounds good to me. What do you think of Trump's idea for a self-reliant and unified America, negotiating in good faith with the world, and normalizing relations with Russia? Sounds good to me. What do you think of the Dalai Lama's messages of compassion and loving kindness? Sounds good to me. What do you think of the Pope's call for more economic justice for the poor? Who wouldn't like all the above ideas? In fact, following the logic of your post, we would have to love and endorse almost every politician, salesman and shyster, because they're always airing such noble platitudes and making such beautiful promises. turtleman
