Not sure of your reasoning here, Ken. First, where did the figure of 65 per cent come from? Second (and most important) at their last party conference Labour delegates voted overwhelmingly to honour the result of the referendum and to facilitate Brexit. That is official Labour party policy. Of course remainers are disillusioned with Corbyn (as they are with the tories) because they lost in the referendum. Imagine how pissed off the 52 per cent who voted leave would be if Corbyn went back on his pledge. My point is simply this: Corbyn would have been far better off making an unequivocal decision to carry Brexit through as the majority who voted wanted without any doubts because he would have come across as strong and decisive. People admire and respect that (especially in a politician) far more than someone who blows this way and that.
