I agree it's a waste of energy; either method will only benefit the rich as always. Leaving things as they are of course will benefit the rich better because they need do nothing to keep the money rolling in. Examples of democracy that probably show why some here aren't of the same opinion as you are this result and the one for Scottish independence. The Scot independence was rallied against shamelessly by the status quo pre referendum, and the result matched. The U.K. Brexit was rallied against pre referendum and yet lost. No one is (in England) discussing now the right to another referendum for Scotland's independent (correct vote already in), whereas it hasn't stopped since the (incorrect) result on the other. I think my point stands, and I think you understand why already. I haven't seen any wide eyed, bushy tailed eagerness here one way or the other, just pragmatic commentary that doing something will make more difference than doing nothing, which is true, no matter how that pans out.
