An astonishing lack of empathy is *NOT* a mindset you can grow out of Archived Message

Rhisiart, she saw severed heads in bins and was completely unfazed because they were 'enemies' of Islam so, you know, it was OK to murder their previous owners. No empathy, no pity, no sympathy. I think her reaction to what most people would regard as an horrendous sight suggests a psychopath. And lets take a closer look at the excuse she offers for herself "I was just a housewife'. Where did the house come from in which she and jihadist hubby lived? From the IS version of Purple Bricks via the IS version of Nationwide? Or was it perhaps a house that was seized from other people? People who'd been, at best, forced to flee leaving their possessions for Ms Begum to play house with or, at worst, murdered? How did she and her husband live - where, for example, did their food come from? Stolen from others through intimidation and stockpiling of emergency aid meant for civilians? And how did jihadist hubby spend his days? Did those sort of questions ever cross what passes as her mind? She wants to return to the UK now ONLY because IS's star is no longer in the ascendant - nothing she's seen has led her to even question her beliefs; nothing has led her to conclude that killing, rape and sexual enslavement are wrong or even wrongish (mustn't be judgemental). A repellent individual.
