That huge swathes of the public are massively disillusioned with the political system is a fact that can't be denied. This has massive implications going forward. One of the unintended consequences of Brexit, is that this has only gotten worse. If one remembers to recent Guardian 'smear' article from Liverpool about the 'hidden' anti-semitism there, one can see that the massive propaganda blitz linking Labour to 'anti-semitism', surely the greatest modern taboo, isn't working or having the desired effect; probably because the public are extremely disillusioned with the media as well. One could almost smell the fear and loathing coming from the Guardian's journalist that the people in Liverpool didn't even realise their heads were bursting with anti-semetic thoughts! Why don't these 'morons' understand how important Israel really is down in London?
