Corbyn is an isolated figure inside the PLP, who never wanted or supported him and have used every opportunity to undermine him as leader. But he hasn't done much to energise his own supporters, has he? On the contrary, he's demoralised them. Instead of smashing the framing narrative, he bows his old grey head, squints, and accepts it at face value. He allows his enemies to choose the field of battle to their own advantage and like some dimwit commander tramps towards his own destruction and more importantly, the destruction of his own supporters.
