Just a quick thought or two on that subject, and ... I haven't read it all ... Thesis #27 is relatively theoretical, and from the bits that I did read, it spans long-er periods of time. After coming across the notion that we may have an accelerated chaos due to climate change within a decade (from that paper), my immediate concern (if I take the 10 years at face value) would be, how to take care of my family. Upping the sticks ain't so easy although not impossible, and secondly, when will I notice that we are approaching the threshold necessitating a drastic action? How to organise the 'society' would be very much my secondary concern : ). How long will it take the climate scientific community to have a consensus that we are already in the non-linear territory? Sorry for the sketchy response. Just thinking aloud. Many other personal questions pop-up. Guess I'll just squirrel that figure of 10 years away for now and watch that space. Cheers
