But I refuse to underestimate your intelligence by claiming you actually believe your own trite assertion. You in fact know when you take your Brexit magic hat off that Rowntree are correct and you are mistaken: so the conclusion really is you think these poor are worth sacrificing for some greater good you have in mind.
The problem is you have no idea of how that good might be attained; and that's before facing the fact that even if you found it the bulk of your fellow Brexiters being Tories and UKIPers wouldn't be interested in it anyway.
