They have form from making it up as they go along. In this case they have no credible evidence of "anti-semitism" for which she was accused and suspended for so they switch the charge to one of reputational damage to Labour on the grounds of the bad publicity they themselves generated by suspending her. Bit like being accused and arrested of shoplifting with no evidence and being convicted of a breach of the peace because you protested your innocence!
