"So you don't think it's even the slightest bit 'odd' that MeToo hasn't shown any interest in Chelsea Manning?"
Not even 0.0001% - for reasons I have explained. Why do you still think it's odd? Because you want to diss #MeToo whether it's fair or not?
"High-class courtesans, the type Trump and men like him seem to like, can expect to have their arses touched when they're at work. It's part of the deal and they get paid very well for it. "
Some women might get paid for it but it's bad for women generally to be seen as sex objects. And most don't get paid for it, as the behaviour passes from the role models into the manosphere.
"You seem to want to turn all women into helpless victims of men, which is problematic to say the least."
I think you should examine your attitude to women. You seem keen to find exampled women who can 'legitimately' be abused, or who are unworthy of consideration to support your arguments while you actually resist attempts to improve the lot of all women.
"But perhaps we should drop the conversation now? Poor Chelsea's in jail and Assange may be following her."
Have you heard of the term non-sequitur? It apples to your introduction of MeToo into this topic. Perhaps once you understand that, you can be less appalled. Though in my recollection almost everything about MeToo appalls you.
